Millstone Meadows Farm is an ideal spot for events and is available for weddings, dinner events, luncheons, garden club gatherings and tours. A culinary chef, Sara also offers gourmet catering both on and off premise and regularly features her many products, such as tomato sauces, herb gellees, fresh baked breads and full gourmet meals at Millstone Market and Kitchen, 207 South King Street, in Morganton. This restaurant and Gourmet-to-Go market is serving Morganton's finest meals for both dine-in and take- out. All of the foods are made with natural and organically raised ingredients, many locally grown. Business hours are 11:00-6:00 Tuesday-Thursday and 11:00-9:00 on Fridays. The Friday night Tapas menu along with select beer and wines have made this the HOT place in town. A Daylily Festival is hosted in June during the peak daylily bloom season. The public is welcome to visit during the summer bloom months and enjoy food, festivities and flowers. Daylilies are for sale as well as other farm products all summer. We are raising several varieties of farm animals, "no pesticide" vegetables along with the flowers. Laying hens provide eggs daily, in many assorted colors. Dairy goats supply milk for Sara's cheeses. St. Croix sheep are now being raised for their rich milk for cheese as well as meat for the farm dinners. We are also raising hogs for meat as well. All of our animals are protected by our wonderful Great Pyrennes dogs.
Below are a few pictures taken around our farm and barnyard.
